Our Last Fall in New Hampshire

With granny visiting from England, we decided to enjoy our last ever New Hampshire fall by driving up into the White Mountains, and along the stunning Kancamagus Highway. The weather and foliage could not have been more perfect. After 235 miles and 6 hours driving, here is a selection of the best shots. Enjoy!

Mark Driscoll On Sex And Marriage

This weekend Mark Driscoll begins a 10 week preaching series through the Song of Songs at Mars Hill Church—all about sex and marriage.

Not for the feint of heart, Mark’s preaching style has always been raw and honest, and I for one am looking forward to his handling of this fantastic book.

If you want to know what the Bible really has to say about sex—make sure you visit the Peasant Princess website after Sunday and download the podcast.

A Time To Cry

A quick update—at about 8pm last night my eldest daughter (7 years old) came downstairs sobbing at the thought of leaving her home. I suspect this is the first of many such moments.

I cuddled her for a while and let her cry.

Sometimes as fathers we need to preach the Word to our children. Sometimes we just need to cuddle them and let them cry.
